The high performance laser scanner provides a fast and accurate scan at 100 scans per second. The OPH 1003 has no problem reading poor quality or marginal bar code symbols. The terminal transmits the data via IrDA (batch method) through the cradle which also charges the device. The housing of the OPH 1003 is sealed to IP54 standards holding up where water and dust resistance is required.
